Calcutta Aseel Club

The Calcutta Aseel Club was founded in 1953 by the honourable Mr.P.S.Lee in the city of Calcutta (today known as Kolkatta), situated in the West Bengal province (East India). We are the oldest institution in India taking care of our national gamefowl breed, the Asil. The main objective of our club is to preserve this oldest gamefowl breed in the world to the most  stringent standards which have been used for hundreds of years and more.
